Reviews
Overall nice. Found it a bit weird that everyone was walking around and eating in bathrobes all day 😆. Had to ask for coffee every morning but it was very present and relaxed. Great views of the mountains and a good location.
I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel booked through a bike park website. The view from the hotel was truly breathtaking and the food was exceptional, a highlight of my stay. However, there were some challenges when it came to communicating with the staff during meals due to the language barrier. It often felt like they were reluctant to assist. On a slightly negative note, it was evident that the staff spoke about guests among themselves.
The hotel boasted a well-curated wine list, and the wellness area was beautifully designed and relaxing. Unfortunately, bike storage options were quite limited, which was disappointing for a bike park-connected stay. Additionally, both on-site parking and garage access had limited availability, with the garage incurring an extra cost.
Overall, the hotel offered stunning views, great cuisine, and a lovely wellness area. However, improvements in staff communication and better facilities for bike storage and parking would make it an even more enjoyable experience.
We booked a room for two nights but checked out after just one night because we were very disappointed. The hotel holds not up to its promises and defenitely does not deserve four stars. The facilities are run down and the interior is full of outdated, misplaced and smelly furniture. The food at the restaurant was really bad. The quality of the ingredients was poor and not fresh. The pasta sauce sadly tasted like a ready made barilla sauce and the chocolate lava cake seemed to be bought at the supermarket. Any Italian granny would cry and feel ashamed for the food served at this place. The service was very unpersonal and seemed unprofessional and overwhelmed with managing this hotel. All in all we don’t recommend going to this place unless you want to throw your money out of the window.
[Disclaimer: if you are only coming for the SPA (and SPA only) - the facilities, personnel and atmosphere are a 5/5]
As many reviews already said there is a serious mismatch between website pictures and actual rooms. The room we received was sold to us at arrival as an "upgrade" but it was nothing like what I booked so I went to kindly ask for explanations. The owner said, and I am quoting, "yes there was indeed a mistake - giving you the upgrade". I asked to be shown other rooms and none of the ones I have seen (other 4) matched the website pictures. I asked for explanations of that and the answer was "I don't have enough space on the website to show everything I have". So, indeed, the room was an upgrade vs the ones I saw (but again nothing like they are publicizing).
In the room, the mattresses were extremely uncomfortable hence sleeping was very difficult. They are equipped with a Illy coffee machine which we were told was free (as to be expected in a 4 stars hotel - and as such in every other hotel I have been). Turns out that it wasn't and we were charged for 1.2EU per coffee (yes, more than what you would pay at a bar). Once asked for explanation at the check-out it was removed from the bill.
The above makes it impossible for me to give anything above 2 stars. And it's a pity really because this is a really nice hotel overall, we ate well, the spa is fantastic, it's well connected as there are many trekking paths surrounding it plus it's a short car ride from the slopes (but to note that the slopes are not "in front of the hotel" as they told us via email).
With the right adjustments and selling itself for what it is vs what's not it could really be "claiming" those 4 stars but for now unfortunately that's not the case.
Amazing place which I can't say enough good things about! The staff were amazing and I've never been somewhere so accommodating for food intolerance. My girlfriend had a gluten free menu every day with loads to choose from. Talking of the food, its all very very good. The spa and treatments were just amazing. The best bit is the location, just stunning scenery in tithe dolomites. I'd go back in a heartbeat!
This is one of the best hotel I've ever seen.
The rooms are comfortable, the restaurant has an excellent service and a great choice of food (for the breakfast too).
The only problem we found is that the bottles of wine are very expensive and not included in the price.
The wellness center has everything you need and really well- kept.
The landscape helps the hotel to have a star more.
Just a top notch hotel, breakfast and dinner is great, the rooms are great, the view is absolutly gorgeous and the spa is great. Even with gluten intolerance there were stil multiple options for glutenfree dishes, including pasta which tasted just as great as normal pasta. Compliments.
Just stayed in this hotel and my family and i thought it was amazing the hotel facilities and cleanliness was a 100% The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful can not do enough for you, the rooms are beautiful and the view from our balcony was out of this world. The food was very very nice and plenty of it and the staff in the resturant were very friendly and plenty of variety of food to choose from. If you don't ski they are other things that you can do such as spa, pool and beauty treatments so never nothing to do.
I highly recommend this hotel to couples and families and this hotel caters for everyone and is extemely good for children from newborn to teenagers. We will be coming back next year!!
